Jennifer Castillo’s work is 1 of 30 (out of 8,000 works in Harris County) on display at the Department of Education in Washington D.C. from September 01, 2017-October 31, 2017. The Department of Education features the impressive efforts of students in one region who received Gold Keys in the 2017 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. (Aldine ISD took 3 of the 30 spots in this exhibition!!)

With this honor she received airfare and lodging for two nights to attend the awards ceremony. She PROUDLY represented Carver and Aldine ISD!
