V.A.S.E. 20-21

The annual Visual Arts Scholastic Event Student Art Contest's results are in and we could not be more proud of our students!

Despite being a virtual event (this year only) our region received 1825 entries, only 113 of those entries are selected to advance to state. Student work is rated from 1-4 any art work receiving the highest rating is awarded a medal.

We are proud to announce that the Carver Art Department received 22 individual student medals and we have three Carver students advancing to state this year!

Our 3 State Qualifiers are: Jaquan Allen, Lashawn Bolton, and Cindy Vega!

State qualifiers not only advance to state but have earned their Letterman Jackets in the Visual Arts Strand!

Big congratulations to all carver student participants! Way to step up despite this difficult year!
